The Secretariat of the Committee of Intelligence and Security Services of Africa (CISSA) celebrated Children’s Day on 17 June 2023, in the presence of all staff, their kids, and families. The event was held at the CISSA headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The event began with a welcome speech by the Executive Secretary, Ambassador Zainab Ali Kotoko, who emphasised the importance of children in society and the need to protect their rights. She also highlighted CISSA’s commitment to promoting the safety and well-being of children.

The event was followed by various activities for children of all ages, including face painting, games, and dancing. There was also a food court where children and their families could enjoy a variety of delicious dishes. The event was a great success, and the children and their families had a wonderful time. The event was a reminder of the importance of children in society and the need to protect their rights.
